How times are calculated
Prayer times come from solar events at your coordinates, interpreted through a calculation convention. Fajr and Isha depend on depression angles; Maghrib depends on how a provider treats the period after sunset. Guidance from your marja or local centre takes precedence over any calculated timetable.
