Audio licensing and attribution
Every recording needs a documented right to stream, embed or download before it appears as playable content.
Rights status
Each catalogue entry records a rights status of not-cleared, pending or cleared, along with the rights holder, licence scope, expiry, territories and the exact attribution text. Only 'cleared' entries can ever play.
Permitted uses
Streaming and downloading are authorised separately. An entry may be streamable and not downloadable, and we honour that distinction.
Attribution
The credit line supplied by the rights holder is shown with the recording everywhere it appears.
Takedown
If you hold rights in a recording listed here and want it corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it. Sample listings carry no audio, but we will still remove a listing on request.
Expiry and review
Licences with an expiry are reviewed before that date, and playback stops automatically when a licence lapses.
